Michi here again.
How’s everyone been?
It’s almost been a year since we stopped working on OStKO. My first year in University has gone pretty okay so far! And now, being on break, I’ve been itching to get back into business! I’m afraid to say, I won’t be carrying on the OStKO scanlations. We have already given up that right when we decided we were going to drop it. Plus, I still don’t have staff and it’s too much of a hassle to handle and coordinate so many things. (I’m running a one-person show right now)
However, I wonder if anyone missed the series as much as I did? I purchased the Special Edition for Volume 6 (including the Drama CD and all) and Shmook bought me the Light Novel as a belated birthday gift last year. And so, I thought I’d practice my Japanese by working on these bits and pieces of extras.
Truth be told, I’m not sure if I’ll actually sit through all of the extras till the end (when school starts getting hectic again).
But in the mean time, I did get the Prologue of the Light Novel translated. It is narrated from a 3rd person’s POV, so you get to see things a little differently from the manga, which was pretty interesting.
But just to be clear, I did this all on my own, so there’s no proofreading, or checking or whatever. It’s what I can do being a one-person show right now. Hopefully they are as accurate as possible, and the grammar is fine and what-not.
Do forgive me if you do spot errors, as I am only human.
And thanks for sticking around 1 year later, if any of you are still into the manga 🙂
P.S. Thanks for all your warm and sweet messages on the last post. Definitely made it a lot harder to let the group go…
P.P.S. I have recently joined Aqua Scans as their translator for a couple of Shoujo manga too. They’re pretty refreshing, so do check the group out if you want to see more, or want to stick around 🙂
If anyone needs me, I’ll be available on Twitter as @michikyun!
And until next time.
